Happy and Sad Coincidences

Are life moments made of coincidences?
One could say that it is all random. Randomness looks more like anarchy to me than believing and researching about a benevolent God. Does anarchy seek balance or immediate satisfaction?
There is good joy and bad joy as Aristotle, Sophocles, Epicurus, Plato, and many others have understood. Joy is not a means to an end, diligence is, yes a means to a happy end, marked with more happy coincidences. What creates more happy coincidences, if not being surrounded by lovely conditions, routines, people, and knowledge?
Can we create more happy coincidences for ourselves?
